Production Log 5

What progress did you make since your previous entry? 

This week me and my partner have been looking over the schedule and making any adjustments to the days that we will be filming and we have organised a time with the YouTuber and they have said we can interview them this week, we are just awaiting a time and date and where they will be available. We have also put the begining scene together where me and my partner do a introduction. 

What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

The logistical challenges we faced this week was that our schedule was a mess due to our  interviewers cancelling on us, we have phoned up a lot of people who have been interested as we have learned phoning them is a very efficient way as you will get the response straight away which means them giving a straight answer, this a faster way but not everyone has a contact number, this is why it is difficult.

What technical challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome them?

This week the main problem was that we were going to do a participatory documentary which meant us being in it, but us looking at what we have edited so far we both think it would be the best if we do a voice of god documentary as then we can just have a voice over throughout. By doing this we may fall behind but schedule but we think that would be the best option as it would look a lot better and we could make it look like a YouTuber Vlogs and then it would appeal to them kind of people.

What targets do you aim to achieve before your next entry?

The targets that I aim to achieve   before the next entry are, to finish getting the footage for the interviews, complete the Vox Pox footage as we need to do in the daylight and due to it being winter time means that it gets dark a lot quicker. By doing this i feel we will be in a better position as we would just need to record two more interview then we would be closer to editing all.
